Planning a wedding starts as a joyful affair, you’ve just got engaged, your friends want to help, everybody is excited;
but as weeks go by, you quickly realize planning a wedding is a tough job, especially if you already have a full time job.
It will take an average of 300 hours to plan your big day, that’s over 7 weeks of full time office work!

We understand the modern bride doesn’t have that much free time on her hands.

Thanda Creations can take the stress away by planning a beautiful wedding, your wedding, but our workload.
Your involvement in the planning can be as big or as small as you wish, but be certain you will always have the last say.
We will advise, coordinate and you will make the final decisions.

First free initial consultation:
We will meet in a place of your choice or have a phone conversation to initially talk about your dream wedding.
Our planner will get to know you a bit better and discuss theme, budget, ideas etc...

The ceremony/reception venue:
Whether you have a distinct idea of what you want, like your favourite hotel or just a vague idea, we will search venues and find the perfect one for you, whether it be a castle in Scotland, a beach house in cornwall, a venue in central London or a stylish barn in Surrey.

The suppliers/service providers:
Thanda Creations will source every supplier necessary for your special day. We do not take commission from suppliers, any discount will be given to you. Stationery-Florist-Photographer-Musicians-Caterer-Cake-Bespoke Jewellery-Transport- etc...
We will give you a choice of suppliers, their services & prices meeting your views and budget.
We will also make appointments and attend meetings with you if necessary.

Paperwork:
We will be your PA & your accountant, leave the admin to us. If you want us at a meeting, we will be there. We will manage all suppliers, make appointments and remind you of them! Unlimited emails and phone calls, whatever the time of day.
We will draw a timeline of the day and make sure you are happy with it all. All suppliers will have a copy so they are aware of the day’s events.

Design/Decoration:
Once we have a better idea of who you are and what you want, we will present you with a design board to get the big picture of your wedding day. We will work with you to design your vision.
Thanda Creations will put the final touches to make your wedding unique to you. We thrive in decorating a venue, from transforming a simple room to a magical winter wonderland to creating a beautiful table setting and let’s not forget the little things like lace lanterns in the courtyard’s trees or pretty soaps in the bathrooms.

On the day:
We will be there to ensure it all goes smoothly: answering calls, putting the final touches, managing suppliers, following the timeline, being there to ensure everybody’s questions are answered and making sure you and your guests are happy and enjoying your day.

Price:
10% of the budget (minimum charge of £1000).

Honeymoon:
Having worked in the travel industry for 8 years, I will personally work with you to make your honeymoon the trip of a lifetime:
I have travelled extensively including New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Malaysia, the USA, Corsica, Mozambique ... It can be a 5 star beach honeymoon, a self drive in the south of France or even a cabin honeymoon on a Texas ranch, whatever you wish for.
I thrive in finding the new gems, not yet “discovered by the crowd” islands.

The dress:
It can be daunting to find the perfect dress; it’s not just a case of walking into a shop and buying one, oh no! Most of the shops now will only see you by appointment and it takes time to search for the right shops and arrange appointments.
Thanda Creations can help you in your search of the perfect dress, and if you need somebody to come with you, we will be there to advise you.

The guests:
Whether you need help finding accommodation for your guests or just a little help to place little welcome gifts in their rooms, we can arrange it for you.
